to
its

has
given
an
official

The
channel
has
said
that
Vijay

has
always
stood
by
the

and
it
knows
its

"Vijay
TV
has
always
upheld
the
interest
of
Tamils
and
their
dignity
and
has
always
acted
as
a
responsible
television
channel
Vijay
TV
has
always
functioned
in
a
manner
in

and
Ceylon
Arts
Creations
have
decided
to
arrange
Super
Singer
program
at
the
Maruthane
St

Sri
Lanka.
As
there
is
a
tension
between
Tamil
Nadu
and
the
neighbour
country
over
the
massacre
of
Tamils
in
the
country,
people
expressed
their
displeasure
over

plan
to
have
a
program
in
Sri
Lanka.
The
channel
claimed,
"Its
for

sheer
reason
the
Tamil
diaspora
spread
over
the
world
has
always
loved
and
supported
Vijay

In
this
context
we
would
like
to

have
appeared

"On

2
a
cultural
program
was
scheduled
in
Sri

with
which
Vijay
TV
has
no
connection
or
association.
It
has
never
been
associated
with
any
events
in
Sri

in
the
past
as
well," Vijay

concluded.
