When
Kamal
Haasan's
Vishwaroopam
was
about
to
hit
silver
screens
back
in
2013,
controversies
took
center
stage
and
high
tension
drama
prevailed
for
a
long
time
before
the
movie
was
finally
released
much
to
the
joy
of
thousands
of
fans.
The
movie
not
only
went
on
to
become
a
hit
but
also
created
huge
expectations
for
the
sequel,
thanks
to
the
closing
credits
which
had
sequences
from
the
already
shot
Vishwaroopam
2.
Though
the
sequel
was
to
be
released
much
earlier,
the
shooting
of
the
movie
was
disrupted
as
the
film
ran
into
trouble
after
a
miscommunication
between
the
production
company
and
Ulaga
Nayagan
Kamal.
But
all
that
was
sorted
and
the
shooting
commenced
shortly
after
a
brief
interruption.
Now,
an
insider
close
to
the
multifaceted
actor
says
that
the
crew
is
working
relentlessly
to
make
sure
the
movie
is
released
by
the
end
of
this
year.
"Vishwaroopam
2
will
surely
release
by
the
end
of
2014.
As
of
now,
only
two
days
of
shooting
is
left
and
some
CG
work
is
still
pending.
The
team
is
working
hard
towards
completing
the
film
and
releasing
it
shortly." says
the
source.
Meanwhile,
a
source
close
to
Rajinikanth's
Lingaa
has
said
that
the
movie
will
release
on
December
12th
owing
to
the
Superstar's
birthday
or
it
might
be
released
for
Pongal
early
next
year.
Now,
if
Lingaa's
team
postpone
its
release,
then
it
surely
will
make
us
wonder
if
Rajinikanth
is
helping
Kamal
Haasan
to
release
his
movie
by
the
end
of
this
year
as
Kamal
has
3
films
lined
up.
With
a
few
biggies
set
to
release
for
Diwali,
Kamal
might
release
his
Vishwaroopam
2
by
the
end
of
this
year
if
and
only
if
Lingaa
makes
way
for
Kamal's
magnum
opus.
