Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's comeback film with Mani Ratnam seems to be getting delayed. The multilingual film was expected to be launched this summer. But now we hear that the shooting of the flick has been postponed for some reasons.

The buzz says that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Mahesh Babu starrer film will take off in June or July. The post-production works are happening in a slow pace and the team is not hurrying up to start the project soon.

At this stage, nothing more than this piece of news is available for media. Moreover, the makers of the film are yet to formally announce the news on this film.

The untitled film is simultaneously made in Tamil and Telugu. Superstar Mahesh Babu has been signed to play the main hero role. There are also reports that Tollywood star Nagarjuna has been approached by Mani Ratnam for the film. But nothing has been confirmed. Shruti Hassan will be playing a key role in the flick.

Oscar Award winner AR Rahman is expected to score music for the forthcoming flick. Other details about the project are under wraps. It will be made under Mani Ratnam's home banner Madras Talkies.
