Repeated
delays
over
the
release
of
Kochadaiiyaan
has
been
not
helping
the
movie.
After
announcing
that
the
flick
would
be
released
finally
on
May
23,
a
speculation
had
emerged
from
rumour
mills
that
it
would
be
delayed
again.
But
the
makers
of
the
film
have
come
out
to
give
a
clarification
on
the
issue.
The
official
press
release
from
Eros
read,
"All
post
production
work
has
been
completed
and
the
film
is
censored
in
all
six
languages
in
2D
and
3D
versions.
It
is
ready
for
delivery
next
week," The
movie
bosses
have
also
denied
reports
on
a
repayment-default
notice
to
the
producers
by
a
private
bank.
They
say
that
the
sudden
demand
over
the
prints
made
them
postpone
the
release.
"There
was
a
sudden
demand
for
an
additional
200
prints
for
as
many
screens,
all
over
the
world,
just
two
days
before
release
after
seeing
the
extraordinary
response
for
the
advance
booking.
125,000
tickets
were
sold
out
in
under
two
hours
in
Chennai
alone.
To
avoid
last
minute
delay
on
the
screening
material
reaching
theatres,
the
decision
was
taken
to
reschedule
the
film
to
May
23,"
said
a
statement
from
the
production
house.

Producer-Distributor
