By Ramchander
Rajinikanth
is
back
with
bang.
The
Tamil
superstar,
after
a
gap
of
four
years,
is
coming
with
his
magnum
opus
Kochadaiiyaan,
which
will
hit
the
screens
worldwide
on
May
23.
Like
his
earlier
movies,
this
film
is
not
having
a
good
pre-talk
and
there
is
a
section
of
people,
who
have
predicted
the
film
to
be
Rajini's
flop
show
even
before
its
release!
Nonetheless,
Kochadaiiyaan
is
hitting
worldwide
in
record
number
of
screens.
The
Tamil
flick
is
releasing
in
multiple
languages
including
Tamil,
Telugu
and
Hindi.
The
screen
count
of
the
all
three
versions
have
crossed
3000
and
still
counting.
It
clearly
indicates
that
there
is
a
huge
demand
for
the
movie
even
though
the
film
is
having
negative
pre-talk,
which
has
paved
way
for
people
to
assume
that
it
would
become
a
flop.
The
Reasons
Kochadaiiyaan
is
not
an
usual
masala
movie
and
it
is
an
experimental
film
considering
the
nature
of
films
made
in
Kollywood.
In
the
film,
we
won't
see
a
regular
Rajinikanth
that
millions
of
his
fans
love
to
see
and
the
animated
Rajini,
so
far,
has
not
created
an
expected
big
noise
in
Tamil
films.
The
superstar
is
known
for
his
larger-than-life
kind
of
roles
and
even
though
Kochadaiiyaan
showcases
the
valour
of
Rajinikanth's
characters
in
the
movie,
it
is
believed
that
the
roles
have
failed
to
connect
with
the
audience.

Will
Our
Audience
Enjoy?
It
is
a
motion-capture
animated
movie
and
industry
is
not
sure
whether
Tamil
audience
will
enjoy
a
full-fledged
animation
movie.
Quality
On
the
other
side,
a
class
of
audience
have
different
reasons
to
give
thumbs
down
to
Kochadaiiyaan.
They
allege
that
the
quality
of
the
technology
that
is
used
in
the
film
is
below
standards.
Comparing
it
with
Hollywood
films,
they
are
criticising
the
film.
Wrong
Time
For
Release
Traders
in
Kollywood
say
that
Kochadaiiyaan
is
releasing
at
a
wrong
time.
Now
that
all
the
schools
are
re-opening,
they
are
no
sure
whether
family
audience
will
turn
to
theatres
in
full
numbers.
As
it
is
an
animation
film,
the
film
was
expected
to
pull
childrens.
Constant
Delays
The
constant
delays
seem
to
have
not
worked
in
favour
of
the
film
and
many
on
social
media
sites
claim
that
they
have
lost
interest
in
Kochadaiiyaan.
Conclusion
Well,
Rajinikanth
is
known
for
turning
tides
and
all
the
industry
men
and
his
fans
hope
that
Kochadaiiyaan
will
win
the
hearts
of
audience.
Afterall,
Rs
125
crores
of
producers
is
at
stake!
