Will Poojai Survive Kaththi Scare?

With everybody's attention on Kaththi, it is almost safe to say that Vishal starrer Poojai which is also set to release this Diwali is almost forgotten by movie buffs. Yet, the movie is said to have made good business so far with the tickets being sold at rapid pace despite the rain God showing no mercy for the past two days.

It is also said that the movie is set to be screened over 1200 theatres worldwide and is expected to do particularly well in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana considering the lead pair of the movie who are rather popular in those states.

Meanwhile, with Kaththi still receiving threats from various Tamil groups, it is not yet a sure shot release for this Diwali in Tamil Nadu. If at all the protesting groups manage to keep Kaththi out of cinema halls on the Diwali day, then Poojai will find it easier to make its producers happy on the auspicious day.

Poojai is directed by Hari of Singam fame and the music is scored by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Cinematography has been handled by Priyan and editing has been done by V. T. Vijayan.
