Yaamirukka Bayamey Off To A Good Start At Box Office

Kreshna and Rupa Manjari starrer Yaamirukka Bayamey is off to a good start at Box Office. The decision to advance the release has worked out big time for the Tamil horror comedy.

Yaamirukka Bayamey was released in above 260 screens in the state on May 9. It was supposed to release on May 23. But it was preponed after Rajinikanth's Kochadaiiyaan was postponed. In the first weekend, the Tamil movie has raked in Rs 2.25 crores in Tamil Nadu.

On the opening day, Yaamirukka Bayamey has reportedly earned more than Rs 1 crore. Many factors have worked in favour of the movie. Firstly, there were no big Tamil movies in theatres even though other release of Santhanam's Vallavanukku Pullum Aayudham gave a reasonable competition.

Good word-of-mouth is playing a big role in Yaamirukka Bayamey's success at collection centres. Meanwhile, the movie has done decent business at some international circuits too.

Yaamirukka Bayamey is directed by Deekay and produced by Elred Kumar. Kresha, Rupa Manjari, Oviya and Karunakaran are in the lead roles.
