Yennai Arindhaal 's teaser was made available to be viewed by fans online yesterday and the fact that Thala Ajith has a prodigious fan base has been proven convincingly for the teaser has attracted 42,491 likes already. It is way ahead when compared with the other biggies like I and Lingaa.

While Shankar's I has got 41,175 likes over a period of 2 months, Lingaa has got 19,773 likes despite the teaser going live on November 1st. Yennai Arindhaal has managed to surpass both I and Lingaa in just 24 hours and has also got 1,361,593 views so far which is the highest for any Tamil movie in less than a day's time.

It just goes on to show Ajith's popularity not only in Tamil Nadu but also worldwide. It also hints at the excitement the movie has created among fans who are eagerly waiting for the movie to be released.

There hasn't been an official announcement on the movie's release date yet, but there are speculations doing rounds that it might be released on 9th of January. But since AM Rathnam, the producer of the movie is an ardent devotee of Sai Baba, there are chances that the movie might be released on 8th of January which falls on Thursday.
