Kamal Haasan who had reportedly asked for some time to decide whether or not to be a part of the high budget film, has allegedly denied the offer, according to the latest report.
So the script which was originally designed for Aamir Khan had moved on to Kamal Haasan's desk before getting rejected for second consecutive time. So who else is worthy enough to play that special baddie?
Well, it looks like Shankar had held talks with none other than Chiyaan Vikram asking him to take up the powerful role and what was Vikram's reaction?
Being a good friend that he is, Vikram has given his consent to play the baddie opposite Rajinikanth, according to the buzz within the Kollywood fraternity.
Going by the looks of it, it is almost a certainty that Shankar's next flick is indeed a mega budget entertainer with Rajinikanth in the lead. The only thing left right now is an official confirmation which is the only thing that matters.
If the hearsay materializes, this upcoming Shankar flick would see the maverick director joining hands with both Vikram and Rajinikanth for the third time in the same film.
How exciting is it even if it's just a rumour? Well, hopefully a statement from the horse's mouth comes out pretty soon putting an end to all allegations. Stay tuned for further updates.
