Ajith's New BMW i8? What Makes This Supercar So Special?
Thala Ajith's love for mean machines is well known. He has an amazing collection of his own toys that includes some outrageous superbikes.
It was alleged that the latest to the join the list is the new BMW i8 which is rarely seen on Indian roads. The car was first introduced in 2009 as a concept model and was made available in India only this year.
It was also reported that Ajith is probably the first person from our country to own this much enviable, plug-in hybrid sports car which costs around 2.3 crore rupees on Indian road.
The car can vroom from 0-100 km/h in just 4.4 seconds and has a top speed of 256 km/h which makes it one of the fastest fuel efficient sports car in the world.
However, as it turns out, the news is false and that Ajith only owns a BMW superbike which pretty much explains his love for the brand which has been redefining luxury vehicles over the years.
Meanwhile, his new movie which is tentatively titled as Acchamillai is all set to start rolling in a couple of weeks' time where some important sequences will be shot in the city.
