Appukutty's New Identity: Thala Ajith Stresses On The Importance Of Birth Name
It is a common practice in Kollywood where actors and actresses adapt to their screen names for various reasons. But in the case of Appukutty, it is all about going back to his birth name Sivabalan, thanks to Thala Ajith.
It is well known that Ajith recently organized a photo shoot, capturing the National Award winner in various avatars after giving him a makeover. The noble act, it seems was aimed at presenting him with a new lease of life.
Sivabalan has revealed that during the making of Veeram, he had disclosed to Ajith that his looks might be the reason why he is not able to earn himself different type of roles.
After learning about his worries, Ajith who has a habit of helping others, had suggested him to go for a makeover and a new portfolio which might help his cause. Little did Sivabalan know that Ajith himself will take the initiative.
As a part of their plans, the Mankatha actor has also insisted him to go back to his original name, which will help him shed his current screen image; an actor stereotyped for village based roles.
Now, with a fresh zing and confidence, Sivabalan is determined to let the world know that he is ready to take up more challenging roles with his new identity and looks.
