AR Rahman's Mental Manadhil From OK Kanmani Achieves Something Substantial!

Within hours of its release, the single track, 'Mental Manadhil' from Mani Ratnam's OK Kanmani has captured the numero uno position in iTunes India. The song which has been composed and sung by AR Rahman is peppy and has fulfilled music lovers' expectations.

The winning combination of Mani Ratnam and the Mozart of Madras has always churned out massive musical hits in the past and going by the already released single track, OK Kanmani's album looks like a clear cut winner.

What makes ' Mental Manadhil' even more special is that the lyrics of this song has been penned by AR Rahman and Mani Ratnam, a rare combination indeed. The mixing is done by PA Deepak to perfection and the Oscar winning musician has once again made millions to dance to his astonishing tunes.

With the audio launch expected to happen on 30th of March, the expectations of the album has doubled, thanks to the already released single track. The film itself is awaited with excitement as OK Kanmani is touted to be a new age romantic drama which is by far Mani Ratnam's most comfortable genre.

The pre-release business of the movie is so far so good with Prime Media acquiring the distribution rights of OK Kanmani. The company had recently bought Kamal Haasan's Uttama Villain as well and they remain to be one of leading distributors of Kollywood films in North America.
