With
several
prominent
celebrities
severely
criticizing
and
many
women
welfare
organizations
protesting
against
Simbu's
act
of
crooning
the
'beep
song',
which
houses
abusive
lyrics,
targeting
women,
the
issues
surrounding
the
latest
controversy
is
getting
bigger
with
each
passing
day.
Though
actor-producer
Dhanush
is
no
way
connected
to
the
entire
saga,
which
is
creating
a
ruckus
in
Chennai,
his
upcoming
film
Thanga
Magan
which
is
all
set
to
release
tomorrow
(December
18th)
might
run
into
trouble,
thanks
to
the
'beep
song'
row.
One
among
the
latest
speculations
has
it
that
several
women
welfare
organizations
have
planned
to
protest
in
front
of
cinema
halls
screening
Thanga
Magan,
in
a
bid
to
stop
the
movie
from
hitting
the
big
screen
since
the
film's
music
is
composed
by
Anirudh.
Another
such
hearsay
that's
been
doing
the
rounds
is
about
Anirudh
getting
detained
by
police
officials
as
soon
as
his
flight
lands
in
Chennai.
Though
Anirudh,
who
is
currently
stationed
in
Canada,
revealed
that
he
did
not
compose
the
much
talked
about
song,
Simbu
confessed
that
he
along
with
the
VIP
musician,
composed
the
beep
song.
Both
Simbu
and
Anirudh
have
been
summoned
to
appear
before
a
Chennai
police
station
on
December
19th
(Saturday)
as
a
complaint
was
lodged
against
the
duo.
