CONFIRMED: Kanchana 2 Release Date And Audio Launch!
If Suriya's Singam is on the verge of becoming one of the most successful series of films in Tamil cinema, Raghava Lawrence's Muni series is not far behind. Recently, the title of the movie was changed from Muni 3: Ganga to Kanchana 2 and now, sources have confirmed the audio release date and the release date of the movie.
According to reports, the audio release of Kanchana 2 will take place on March 15th and the film will be released on April 10th. Sri Thenandal Films are all set to release the film all over the world come April 10th.
Earlier, Thenandal Films had said that April 10th will be their tentative release date but now it looks like the production house has fixed the release date owing to the holiday season which usually starts from April. Official confirmation on the same could be out anytime now.
With both Muni and Kanchana receiving tremendous support from cine goers, Kanchana 2 is also expected to entertain one and all. It is not easy to pull off a film that houses horror comedy as its genre but Lawrence had managed to achieve that with ease, subsequently dishing out back to back hits.
With Kanchana 2 too touted to be a horror comedy, expectations are indeed high for this film. Whether the Muni director be able to create same kind of magic with his third film of the same genre is something to watch out for.
Kanchana 2 stars Taapsee as the female lead with Kovai Sarala and Devadarshini reprising their respective roles from Kanchana. It will also have Nithya Menen in a cameo role.
