Confirmed: Kappal Hero Vaibhav Bags AR Murugadoss' Next!
Vaibhav Reddy who initially appeared in Venkat Prabhu's films like Saroja, Goa and Mankatha got his first big break through Kappal. With the famed director Shankar producing the movie under his home banner S Pictures, Kappal got the much needed limelight and went on to become a success.
Post Kappal, Vaibhav is all set to establish himself as a lead actor in Kollywood as Kaththi director AR Murugadoss has signed Vaibhav for a new film which Murugadoss will produce under his home banner. SS Stanley of Pudhukottaiyilirundhu Saravanan and Mercury Pookkal fame will wield the microphone for this untitled flick.
After bagging a film under S pictures which is still going strong at the theatres, Vaibhav would be hoping that his next project with SS Stanley too goes on to become a massive hit which would in turn instate him as a lead actor in Kollywood opening up gates for a single hero subject thereafter.
Vaibhav's next release in Tamil is Aambala which has Vishal and Hansika Motwani in the lead roles. Though Vaibhav's role in the movie is still not clear, it is speculated that the Kappal star might be seen in a negative role in the movie.
Vaibhav who made his in Tamil through Saroja has acted in nine Tamil films so far including a couple of cameos. The actor who also has four Telugu films under his kitty will look to cement his place in Kollywood especially after the response his latest release Kappal received in Tamil Nadu.
