The
debate
about
who
the
next
Superstar
is
in
Tamil
cinema
has
been
going
on
for
quite
sometime
now
and
more
often
than
not
these
arguments
tend
to
attract
unpleasant
comments
from
fans.
Thanks
to
the
transparent
nature
of
social
media
forums,
prominent
celebrities
not
involved
in
the
discussion
have
requested
fans
not
to
come
up
with
such
comments
in
the
past.
One
such
celebrity
was
Dhanush
who
made
a
similar
request
to
his
fans
on
a
popular
TV
show.
Ironically,
he
became
the
reason
to
start
the
much
disliked
debate
all
over
again.
At
a
curtain-raiser
event
in
London,
Dhanush
who
was
accompanied
by
Anirudh
has
reportedly
spoken
about
Ilayathalapathy
Vijay.
He
has
said,
"Vijay
sir
is
a
good
friend
of
mine,
he
is
a
very
humble
and
friendly
person.
While
talking,
he
will
place
his
hand
over
your
shoulders
and
will
let
you
to
do
the
same".
"He
has
his
own
set
of
fans,
his
own
style
quotient
and
has
made
a
name
for
himself
as
a
Superstar.
I
am
honoured
to
have
a
friend
like
him," said
Dhanush
much
to
the
surprise
of
everyone.
Only
minutes
later,
the
Anegan
star's
words
spread
like
ripples
and
needless
to
say,
the
old
debate
was
risen
from
its
grave,
the
only
difference
being
Dhanush's
inclusion
in
it
this
time
around.
Perhaps,
the
freedom
of
speech
dies
with
the
acquisition
of
stardom
as
far
as
Tamil
cinema
is
concerned,
for
stars
will
no
longer
be
able
to
get
away
after
making
a
debatable
comment.
