Dhanush's Anegan Box Office Report: 30 Crores In Just 3 Days!
As expected Anegan enjoyed an amazing opening and has collected almost 20 crores in the worldwide box office from its first two days. Thanks to the number of screens the movie was projected and the positive reviews it garnered from fans and critics, Anegan has turned out to be Dhanush's biggest opener ever.
According to trade sources, the movie had collected a whopping 10.65 crore rupees on its opening day which is huge for any Dhanush starrer. Dhanush's market is never going to be the same after two back to back blockbuster hits in Velaiyilla Pattathari and Anegan.
Dhanush had taken to Twitter to express his gratitude to his fans all over the world. He wrote, "#anegan 2 days 20 crores😇😇 don't know how 2 thank you all for this humongous opening.i feel humbled overwhelmed nd encouraged.#blockbuster."
Though the exact figures of Anegan's third day(Sunday) collection is not available, it is expected that the collections on Sunday would've witnessed a slight plunge citing the cricket world cup match between Indian and Pakistan.
Having said that, trade sources have also revealed that the number of shows for Anegan have been increased from 390 to 415 as the movie is being loved by variety of audience which is a healthy sign for Anegan and team for days to come.
Also keeping in mind that the film will face no other major competition until next Friday, Anegan might well be on its way to hand Dhanush his first 100 crore grosser.
