Dhanush's Anegan: Total Worldwide Screen Count
We had earlier mentioned that KV Anand's Anegan will be Dhanush's biggest release ever. Thanks to his previous release Velaiyilla Pattathari(VIP), which went on to become a blockbuster hit and his recent success as an actor, Dhanush's films are being recognized universally.
In Tamil Nadu alone, Anegan is said to be released in 400 screens. What's surprising is that, Anegan is set for a record release in Kerala for any Dhanush starrer. His last film VIP was released in 82 screens in God's own country and depending upon Anegan's success there, Dhanush could become a prominent star in Kerala.
The film is also simultaneously releasing in Telugu as Anekudu in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. But it has not managed to grab many screens as it is locking horns with Junior NTR's Temper. In Bengaluru, Anegan will be released in a record 25 screens.
When it comes to overseas, Anegan will be released in countries like USA, UK, Canada, Singapore, UAE, Malaysia, Germany and many other countries. While it has managed to clasp 66 screens in the USA with many premier shows that will start from 8PM on February 12th, UK will be releasing the film in 20 screens.
It is also said that Anegan will have a massive release in more than 1000 screens in India alone which is the highest for any Dhanush starrer till date. Depending upon Anegan's performance, Dhanush's films will begin to have worldwide appeal and hence Anegan becomes a crucial film in the Maryan actor's career.
