Dhanush's Next: Inspired By Life of Pi?

Earlier we had informed that Dhanush will be joining hands with director Prabhu Solomon of Kumki fame. Now that the news has been confirmed from source close to the Anegan actor, it is also said that the film might be an inspiration from Ang Lee's Life of Pi.

According to the latest report, Dhanush's next with Prabhu Solomon will follow the lines of Life of Pi as it will narrate the story of a man trapped with an animal. The sources have confirmed that the film is not a remake of Life of Pi.

Other information like what animal will be used in the movie and the rest of the casting will be announced soon. The film which is in its last stage of discussion will go on floors once Dhanush completes Balaji Mohan's Maari.

We all know Prabhu Solomon's fascination for animals and nature. While Kumki had an important role for an elephant, his other hit films like Mynaa and Kayal showcased nature at its best. His next film with Dhanush might be a feast for all nature and animal lovers.

Meanwhile, this month is all set to be the most important for Dhanush in recent times as two major releases of his are waiting in its wings. While Tamil Nadu and other South Indian states will celebrate the release of Anegan this Valentines day, all North Indian states are eagerly waiting for the release of Shamitabh.
