Income
tax
raids
are
back
and
this
time
around
the
sleuths
from
IT
department
have
targeted
the
team
of
Puli
as
houses
and
offices
of
director
Chimbu
Deven,
producer
PT
Selvakumar
and
Ilayathalapathy
Vijay
are
being
raided
at
the
moment.
Just
when
we
thought
that
the
amazing
pre-release
business
of
Puli
could've
triggered
the
raid
which
seemed
to
have
aimed
at
the
Puli
team
alone,
it
was
later
assimilated
that
other
celebrities
like
Kalaipuli
S
Thanu,
Nayantara
and
Samantha
are
also
under
scanner.
While
both
residence
and
office
of
Kalaipuli
S
Thanu
(producer
and
president
of
Producers
Council)
were
raided,
houses
of
Samantha,
Shruti
Haasan
and
Nayantara
(Cochin
residence)
were
also
swooped
on,
according
to
a
report.
The
raid,
which
has
come
across
as
a
surprise
to
many,
was
held
in
30
locations
across
places
like
Chennai,
Hyderabad,
Cochin
and
Thiruvananthapuram.
Though
it
is
not
uncommon
for
IT
department
to
raid
the
houses
and
offices
of
popular
cinema
stars,
this
particular
incursion
right
before
the
release
of
Puli
might
include
strategies
that
meets
more
than
the
eye.
