As
speculated
earlier,
Thala
Ajith's
upcoming
flick
Vedalam
will
swoop
its
way
into
thousands
of
screens
all
over
the
world
on
November
10th
and
is
expected
to
stay
that
way,
unless
the
official
release
date
faces
a
postponement
at
the
last
minute.
For
now,
the
much
anticipated
movie
is
all
set
to
add
glitz
and
colors
to
the
festival
of
lights,
much
to
the
joy
of
all
Ajith
fans.
But
the
latest
surmise
about
the
film
might
dampen
their
spirits
a
touch,
for
it
is
said
that
Vedalam
might've
been
inspired
by
the
Mohanlal
starrer,
Ustaad.
Thanks
to
some
noticeable
similarities
between
the
storyline
of
the
1999
Malayalam
film
and
the
already
released
stills
of
Vedalam,
the
upcoming
Ajith
starrer
is
believed
to
have
been
inspired
by
Ustaad.
Sample
this;
Ustaad
has
Mohanlal
playing
a
don
who
lives
under
the
cloak
of
a
responsible
businessman
who
doesn't
reveal
his
true
identity
even
to
his
own
sister
until
he
is
pulled
back
into
the
dark
world
of
mafia
after
certain
turn
of
events.
Since
almost
all
the
stills
of
Vedalam
have
so
far
portrayed
Ajith
as
a
don
and
lovable
brother,
it
might
not
come
across
as
a
surprise
if
Vedalam
turns
out
to
be
on
the
lines
of
Ustaad.
Interestingly,
Rajinikanth's
superhit
flick
Baasha
too,
had
a
similar
plot
and
not
surprisingly,
there
were
numerous
reports
in
the
past
that
claimed
that
Vedalam
might
have
a
story
similar
to
that
of
Baasha.
Meanwhile,
the
film
has
made
it
out
of
the
censor
board
with
a
clean
'U'
which
gives
Vedalam
a
great
chance
of
getting
itself
exempted
from
entertainment
tax
in
the
state
of
Tamil
Nadu.
Also,
it
is
widely
believed
that
online
reservations
in
Chennai
will
begin
this
Thursday
(November
5th)
and
that
the
trailer
too,
will
be
released
on
the
same
day.
Check
out
the
slides
below
for
more
updates
on
Vedalam:
"Soori
plays
this
film's
main
comedian
and
has
done
a
major
role.
In
fact,
there
are
some
sequences
where
he
has
to
fight
with
Ajith
sir.
I
think
that
particular
scene
will
be
one
of
the
highlights
of
Vedalam",
Siva
has
said.
Thala
Ajith's
Encouragement
The
Veeram
director
has
also
revealed
that
when
Soori
initially
hesitated
to
act
in
the
scene
in
which
he
has
to
argue
and
fight
with
the
Mankatha
hero,
it
was
Ajith
who
came
forward
and
encouraged
him
to
be
a
part
of
the
scene.

are
to

on
November
5th.
The
length
of
the

is
expected
to
be
more
than
2
minutes.

is
said
that

will
have
its
world

be
released
in
more
than
2800

Pre-Release
Business
Profit
from
the
pre-release

of
Vedalam
is
said
to
be
the

any
Ajith
starrer.
Expectations
from
the

new
heights

When

not
sure
if

it

said
