Kaaka Muttai Review (Press Show): Critics Call It A Rare Gem!

Kaaka Muttai was screened yesterday(2nd June) in Chennai exclusively for the press and media. Those who had the privilege to watch the movie have shared their review and opinions about the film.

The movie, which is about two unprivileged kids, will hit the theatre only on Friday, but had created lots of buzz, as it won a couple of National Awards at the 62nd edition of the award ceremony.

The film is jointly produced by Dhanush and Vetrimaaran and is directed and filmed by M Manikandan. It has GV Prakash's musical touch along with the late Kishore's editing.

Apart from the National Awards, the film has been honoured with Audience Award for Best Feature at the Indian Film Festival, Los Angeles and has its first world premiere on September 5, 2014 at the 39th Toronto International Film Festival.

The film was furthermore screened at the Rome Film Festival, 2014, the Dubai International Film Festival, 2014, the Brisbane Asia Pacific Film Festival and at the Gold Coast Film Festival, 2015.
