Earlier
it
was
reported
that
Dulquer
Salmaan's
role,
in
Mani
Ratnam's
Tamil-Telugu
bilingual
featuring
Karthi
as
one
of
the
leads,
was
taken
over
by
Nani
of
Naan
Ee
fame.
Now,
the
latest
report
has
it
that
Keerthy
Suresh
allegedly
walked
out
of
the
project.
The
reason
for
her
decision
has
to
do
with
Nithya
Menon's
role
in
the
film,
which
is
believed
to
be
more
prominent
than
that
of
Keerthy's
role,
according
to
a
report.
The
multi-starrer
which
was
initially
planned
to
be
shot
in
Tamil
alone
was
postponed
by
the
maverick
director
citing
his
new
born
idea
of
making
it
a
bilingual.
Since
the
project
was
postponed,
Dulquer
could
no
longer
allot
his
dates
to
the
project.
After
drafting
in
Nani
to
replace
him,
Nithya
Menon
was
assigned
the
role
of
the
film's
female
lead
which
meant
Keerthy
had
to
play
the
second
fiddle.
Actress
Saiyami
Kher
who
made
her
debut
in
the
Telugu
film
Rey
has
been
roped
in
to
fill
the
void
created
by
the
Rajini
Murugan
actress,
it
is
said.
