Maari First Weekend (3 Days) Box Office Collections: Dhanush's Best Opening Ever!
Dhanush's Maari has taken everyone by surprise by performing extremely well at the box office. Presenting Dhanush with his biggest opening ever, the total weekend (first three days) collections of the film in Tamil Nadu looks as impressive as it can get.
Beating Dhanush's previous box office record set by Velaiyilla Pattathari (VIP), Maari has collected big in the state of Tamil Nadu by the end of its first weekend, handing the Anegan star his biggest opener ever till date.
In its capital city Chennai, Maari has piled a massive 1.21 crore rupees from 294 shows over the weekend. The movie has now claimed the first position in the city after it witnessed two weeks of dominance from Baahubali.
The total collections from Tamil Nadu is said to be around 20.07 crores(approx), which is huge considering the tough competition it faced coupled with its inability to satisfy some of the well known critics in the state.
Maari seems to have impressed its fans in the country of France as well. Surprisingly, the Dhanush starrer has got a massive response in France beating the likes of Ajith's Yennai Arindhaal and Vikram's biggie I.

France First Day Collections
With a total collection of 1350 entries on its first day in France, Maari is way ahead of some of the recently released Tamil films. While Yennai Arindhaal collected 600 entries on its first day, I managed to gross just 225 entries, according to a report.
France Second Day Collections
On its second day, the Dhanush starrer has managed to collect 950 entries from just 2 locations reportedly. Considering its demand, the number of shows might've escalated on its third day in the country of France.
France Total Collections
From its first two days alone, Maari has managed to amass €21,720 which when converted to INR becomes, 14.9 lakh rupees. The official third day collections from France is awaited.
Tamil Nadu First Day Collections
Collecting an impressive ₹6.54 crore on its first day(Friday), Maari received an over whelming response from the state of Tamil Nadu.
Tamil Nadu Second Day Collections
With ₹6.95 crore, Maari's collections remained rock steady throughout its second day. The 'thara' local formula used by Balaji Mohan in his third flick has apparently worked in the box office section.
Tamil Nadu Total Weekend Collections
It has been estimated that the film had collected ₹6.58 crore by the end of its third day run. The total collections now stands at an impressive 20.07 crores(approx) handing Dhanush his biggest opening ever. Please post your comments in the comment box below.
