Earlier,
we
had
reported
that
Kamal
Haasan
will
revive
his
long-stalled
dream
film
Marudhanayagam,
once
he
finds
a
suitable
production
company,
that
will
bankroll
the
high
budget
entertainer.
Now,
it
looks
like
the
project
which
went
on
floors
18
years
ago,
has
found
its
investors.
According
to
the
latest
buzz,
Lyca
Productions,
which
is
currently
funding
Rajinikanth's
Enthiran
2,
will
join
hands
with
Ayngaran
International
in
order
to
produce
Marudhanayagam.
Though
there
is
no
official
confirmation
regarding
this
development,
Ayngaran
International,
on
its
social
media
page
had
recently
posted
a
poster
of
Marudhanayagam,
indicating
that
the
latest
speculation
might
soon
turn
out
to
be
true.
Marudhanayagam,
a
100
Crore
rupees
project
back
then
in
1997,
would
now
cost
at
least
400
Crore
rupees
if
revived,
which
would
subsequently
make
it
India's
costliest
film.
Portraying
Kamal
Haasan
as
the
18th
Century
warrior
named
Muhammed
Yusuf
Khan,
Marudhanayagam
was
initially
planned
to
be
made
in
several
languages
including
English,
Tamil,
Telugu,
Hindi
and
French.
Will
Kamal
Haasan's
magnum
opus
ever
be
revived?
Stay
tuned
to
know
more
about
the
project.
