Massu Engira Massilamani(Masss): Box Office Predictions!

The makers of Masss couldn't have zeroed in on a better release date as there aren't any other major releases tomorrow(29th May). Also the fact that this weekend marks the end of the holiday season could attract family audiences to theatres.

Being promoted as a horror comedy aimed at entertaining the kids in particular, Masss is all set to have a huge opening at the box office.

According to trade sources, the film might collect big on its first day. To be even more precise, the numbers that we are looking at from the domestic market is approximately 3.5 to 4 crores.

If the movie opens to positive comments from cine goers, then from its first three days, Masss could well collect more than 7.5 crores.

When it comes to the overseas market, the film's business will depend upon good word of mouth, specially in the countries like US and the UK where Suriya movies usually does well.

The makers will also be hoping that the film is embraced by Telugu audience as Suriya's market in Andhra is pretty good. It is to be noted that the Telugu version of the film will be releasing tomorrow along with its Tamil counterpart.
