Legendary
music
director
of
Tamil
cinema
MS
Viswanathan,
fondly
called
as
MSV,
is
recuperating
at
a
private
hospital
in
Chennai
after
he
complained
of
acute
shortness
of
breath,
according
to
a
report.
The
famed
musician
who
is
known
as
the
'Mellisai
Mannar'
underwent
a
heart
surgery
few
years
ago
and
hence
doctors
are
being
extra
cautious
in
treating
the
87
year
old
maestro.
This
being
the
case,
MSV
had
refused
to
intake
any
kind
of
solid
food
even
after
being
requested
by
the
doctors
to
do
so.
When
the
physicians
were
worried
that
his
health
might
worsen,
another
maestro
came
to
the
aid.
'Isaignani'
Ilaiyaraaja
who
was
there
at
the
hospital
to
pay
MSV
a
visit,
came
to
know
about
his
refusal
to
eat
food
and
hence
decided
to
step
into
action.
He
approached
the
senior
musician
and
told
him
that
he
has
arranged
some
food
for
him
from
his
own
house
and
asked
him
if
he
would
eat
it.
Impressed
with
Ilaiyaraaja's
concern
towards
him,
MSV
agreed
to
eat
almost
instantly
and
when
the
food
arrived
from
Ilaiyaraaja's
house,
he
himself
fed
it
to
MSV
like
he
would
do
to
feed
a
child.
A
great
gesture
indeed
by
the
'Isaignani'.
Like
millions
of
fans,
we
too
pray
for
MS
Viswanathan's
health
and
hope
that
the
'Thirai
Isai
Chakravarthy'
gets
back
to
his
musical
ways
to
present
us
with
many
more
inspiring
melodies.
