We
had
earlier
informed
you
that
many
distributors
in
Tamil
Nadu
had
acquired
permission
from
the
High
Court
to
stage
a
protest
by
fasting.
Reason
being,
they
claim
that
they
had
incurred
substantial
amount
of
loss
as
Rajinikanth
starrer
Lingaa
did
not
perform
according
to
their
wish
at
the
places
they
distributed
the
film.
And
so,
they
did
exactly
that
and
the
protest
is
still
going
on
in
Chennai.
The
latest
news
is
that
activist
and
filmmaker
Seeman
has
joined
the
protest
that
has
taken
everyone
in
the
film
fraternity
by
surprise.
While
the
entire
Nadigar
Sangam(Artists'
Association)
has
extended
its
arm
to
support
Rajinikanth,
Seeman
thinks
otherwise.
Seeman
who
is
also
an
actor,
LTTE
supporter,
politician
and
an
orator
has
said
that
the
distributors'
request
has
to
be
considered
by
the
Superstar.
The
distributors
have
said
they
do
not
intend
to
seek
compensation
directly
from
Rajinikanth.
All
they
want
from
the
Lingaa
man
is
to
intervene
and
to
take
part
in
a
dialogue
with
the
producers
that
might
solve
the
issue
amicably.
It
has
also
come
across
as
a
surprise
to
many
that
Rajinikanth
too
has
continued
to
ignore
the
ongoing
unfortunate
events
pertaining
to
his
latest
release
Lingaa.
Will
someone
come
forward
to
put
an
end
to
this
protest
or
will
this
real
life
drama
continue
to
keep
everyone
on
the
edge
of
their
seat?
