OK Kanmani Actor Prabhu Lakshman (Buddy) Passes Away: Entire Tamil Film Industry In Shock
Prabhu Lakshman, a famous name among Kollywood stars, passes away in Chennai after suffering a massive cardiac arrest today afternoon.
Prabhu Lakshman, who was simply referred to as 'buddy' by almost all Tamil actors and actresses, made his acting debut in Mani Ratnam's recently released, O Kadhal Kanmani.
Taking his popularity level a notch higher through his role 'buddy' in OK Kanmani, Prabhu Lakshman soon became a well-known personality in the Tamil film industry.
Thus, his sudden demise has left many celebrities in shock with some still refusing to believe that their fun-loving buddy is no more.
Prabhu was also the Co-Chairman of a chain of PSNA establishments including PSNA College of Engineering and Technology, Shree PSNA Polymer Madras Pvt Ltd and PSNA constructions.
Many famous Kollywood personalities took to Twitter to express their shock and disappointment.
Radikaa Sarathkumar wrote on her Twitter page, "Shocked to hear about lakshman Prabhu (Buddy's ) sudden demise. Very sad, RIP friend".
Veteran actress Khushboo said, "Our dear BUDDY..u touched d soul of evry prsn u met n lit der lives wid pure joy n happiness..nw rest well in peace".
Director Venkat Prabhu said, "Gone too soon my buddy. A Best friend anyone could ask for!! Cha #RIPBUDDY".
Ganesh Venkatram, who is a close friend of Prabhu Lakshman expressed his grief, he said, "Terribly shocked !! words fail me...oh god, why him?? My closest frnd @prabhulaksshman buddy gone too sn..".
Vishnu Vishal expressed his dismay by posting, "An ever cheerful soul gone too soon..our beloved lakshman prabhu...shocked..R.I.P buddy".
Actress Varalaxmi Sarathkumar was apparently shocked, she wrote, "Life is too short n unpredictable..Shocked beyond belief..RIP @prabhulaksshman u were the most energetic soul I've ever met.. Gone too soon".
Actor Kreshna wrote, "Oh my god..... R.I.P buddy, may ur soul rest in peace".
