launch
press
meet.
The
press
meet
was
attended
by
the
film's
director
Chimbu
Deven,
producers
PT
Selvakumar
&
Shibu
Thameens,
music
director
Devi
Sri
Prasad,
cinematographer
Natty,
art
director
Muthuraj
and
Puli's
main
stunt
choreographer.
Confirming
that
the
film
will
release
all
over
the
world
on
September
17th,
Chimbu
Deven
thanked
Vijay
for
accepting
a
film
like
Puli.
But
what
caught
the
attention
of
everyone
present
at
the
event
was
the
comparison
between
Puli
and
Baahubali.
Though
producer
Selvakumar
urged
everyone
not
to
compare
Puli
with
Baahubali
as
they
both
are
two
entirely
different
movies,
Chimbu
Deven
surprised
everyone
by
saying
the
entertainment
quotient
in
Puli
will
be
greater
than
that
of
Baahubali's.
Cameraman
Natty
too
thanked
Vijay
for
the
opportunity
and
ensured
that
Puli
will
have
all
the
commercial
elements
despite
being
an
unique
film.
He
has
also
said
that
the
movie
will
be
a
family
entertainer
and
will
attract
general
audience.
A
moment

silence
was
observed
by
everyone
as
a
mark
of
respect
to
the
departed
soul
of
former
Indian
President
Dr.
A.P.J
Abdul
Kalam.

confirmed
that
Ilayathalapathy
Vijay

requested

to
do
so
before
they

begin
the
press
meet.
The
Songs
Producer
PT
Selvakumar
confirmed
that
the
film
will
have
6
songs.
He
went
on
to
say
that
all
6
songs
has
been
composed
in
different
genres
by
musician
D.S.P
and
that
the
entire
team
is
content
with
the
way
the
songs
have
come
out.

launch
will
take
place
on
August
2nd
as
reported

bravery

flick

The
overall
budget
of
the
film
is
said
to
have
crossed
200
crore
rupees.
