Paayum
Puli
is
a
reasonably
high
budget
action
entertainer
and
with
the
release
of
any
such
prominent
Tamil
films
comes
a
controversy
of
some
sort.
With
regard
to
Vishal's
upcoming
movie,
it's
a
group
of
theatre
owners
headed
by
Mr.
Panneerselvam,
the
possessor
of
Rohini
theater,
who
are
up
against
the
release
of
the
film
which
is
scheduled
to
make
its
way
into
theatres
on
September
4th.
The
reason
behind
their
protest
is
said
to
be
the
undying
issue
of
Rajinikanth's
Lingaa.
Vendhar
Movies,
the
production
unit
of
Paayum
Puli,
were
responsible
of
distributing
Lingaa
in
some
parts
of
Tamil
Nadu.
Claiming
that
Vendhar
Movies
has
not
taken
care
of
the
losses
incurred
by
theatre
owners
because
of
Lingaa's
debacle,
owners
of
many
playhouses
have
decided
to
stall
the
release
of
Paayum
Puli
until
the
scores
are
settled.
Reacting
to
the
ongoing
protest,
Tamil
Film
Producers'
Council
(TFPC)
released
a
press
statement
in
which
they
had
requested
the
Tamil
Nadu
government
to
act
against
such
protests
so
that
they
are
not
repeated
in
the
future.
They
had
also
notified
that
no
Tamil
films
will
be
released
from
September
4th
and
the
films
that's
been
playing
right
now
will
also
be
ceased
should
the
state
government
fail
to
react.
The
Paayum
Puli
actor,
who
is
also
eyeing
the
access
to
run
'Nadigar
Sangam'
took
to
Twitter
to
voice
out
his
opinion
he
said,
"Y
do
u
ppl
bring
out
issues
on
da
last
day
insted
of
solving
it
months
bfore
Unethical.Y
stop
releases
jus
for
1
distributor
n
few
theatres".
Will
Paayum
Puli
Pounce
On
4th?
Surprisingly,
Vishal
also
confirmed
the
release
of
his
film
which
contradicts
with
the
TFPC's
statement.
He
said,
"Yes
#PaayumPuli
wil
release
as
per
schedule
on
Sep
4th
worldwide
both
languages.
Hard
work
will
always
pay
off.
God
bless.".
Will
The
Government
React?
It
is
to
be
seen
if
the
government
comes
up
with
a
solution
to
put
an
end
to
such
issues
once
and
for
all.
The
final
decision
on
the
release
of
all
other
Tamil
movies
scheduled
to
release
throughout
the
month
is
expected
shortly.
Meanwhile
Suseenthiran
Aims
Big
Meanwhile,
director
of
Paayum
Puli
Suseenthiran,
has
said
in
one
of
his
interviews
that
he
has
already
finished
working
on
some
scripts
that
would
suit
the
persona
of
actors
like
Ajith
and
Vijay.
Waiting
For
The
Opportunity
He
has
also
confirmed
that
he
is
waiting
for
the
right
time
to
approach
such
big
league
actors
and
that
he
would
collaborate
with
either
Ajith
or
Vijay
pretty
soon.
Suseenthiran's
Track
Record
With
movies
like
Azhagarsamiyin
Kudhirai,
Aadhalal
Kadhal
Seiveer
and
Pandiya
Naadu
under
his
belt,
Suseenthiran's
association
with
either
Ajith
or
Vijay
would
create
a
massive
anticipation
among
fans.
