Puli Total Worldwide Screen Count: Ilayathalapathy Vijay's Biggest Release Ever!
If the latest report by a leading Tamil daily is to be believed, Ilayathalapathy Vijay's upcoming movie Puli will have a record breaking release as the total worldwide screen count is said to be more than 3500.
If the said numbers turns out to be true, Puli will officially become Vijay's biggest release so far in his illustrious career as far as the screen count is concerned.
There are talks that the movie might be dubbed in Hindi as well as the recently released Baahubali grossed more than 100 crores from its dubbed version and hence the makers of Puli would be hoping for a similar response for the Vijay starrer as well.
The movie is set to have a huge release in states like Kerala, Karnataka, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. In God's own country, Vijay has a huge market and thus it shouldn't come across as a surprise if that particular state gets maximum screens, next only to Tamil Nadu.
Going by the recent success of the dubbed version of Jilla, distributors in Telangana and Andhra would be eyeing more than 250 screens, hoping that movie lovers in these states would come out to witness Puli, though they are yet to recover from a storm called Baahubali.

Karnataka
Thanks to the inclusion of Sudeep in Puli, the movie is expected to get a massive response in Karnataka, especially Bangalore. Sudeep is a superstar in the state of Karnataka and hence his presence in Puli might attract lots of Kannada speaking audience to theatres.
North India
The movie will most likely be dubbed in Hindi as well. It is said that Puli might be released in close to 800 screens all over North India. Ironically, Sridevi's role as the queen might pull movie goers in North India into cinema halls. Shruti Haasan too is quite popular in the northern parts of our country.
Tamil Nadu
The film might hit an immense 1000 screens in Tamil Nadu alone come September 17th. This is by far the biggest release for Ilayathalapathy Vijay in his own backyard.
USA
Tamil movies usually thrive in the United States when it comes to the overseas market and Puli will not be an exception. In the Land of Liberty alone, the movie might be released in 200 screens.
The Numbers Might Increase
It is said that the number of screen count might increase as the makers would be looking to reap maximum out of this fantasy thriller. Made with a budget of over 200 crore rupees, it is only fair for Puli to pounce on more than 3500 theatres.
Vijay All Set To Become The New Box Office King?
Going by the hype and craze surrounding Puli, it shouldn't be a surprise if the movie collects big at the box office. With Vijay's previous films joining the 100 crore club pretty convincingly, the Kaththi star might well be on his way in becoming the new box office king of Kollywood.
