Yesterday
we
had
revealed
that
Ilayathalapathy
Vijay's
Puli
had
grossed
32
crore
rupees
from
Tamil
Nadu
box
office
alone
after
completing
its
first
weekend
(4
days)
run.
Now,
it's
time
to
know
how
much
the
fantasy
flick
has
managed
to
collect
worldwide.
It
is
said
that
Puli
enjoyed
a
terrific
run
all
over
the
world
becoming
the
second
highest
Tamil
opener,
next
only
to
Vikram's
I.
This
has
been
gauged
after
taking
into
consideration
its
worldwide
box
office
gross
over
its
first
weekend.
Puli
has
also
been
received
well
throughout
India,
for
it
has
become
the
third
highest
Tamil
opener
(after
Vikram's
I
and
Ajith's
Yennai
Arindhaal)
collecting
51.1
crores
(approximately).
A
whopping
64
crore
rupees
(all
three
languages)
is
what
the
Vijay
starrer
has
managed
to
gross
worldwide
over
its
4
day
opening
weekend.
However,
trade
sources
indicate
that
there
is
a
drop
in
the
collections
and
that
the
film's
box
office
fate
will
be
decided
only
after
this
week.
Taking
into
account
the
overseas
box
office,
some
of
the
major
contributions
have
flown
in
from
Australia
and
France.
USA
though
has
not
been
generous
enough
so
far,
according
to
a
report.
Check
out
the
slides
below
for
detailed
box
office
collections
in
India:
In
Kerala,
the
film's
performance
was
not
as
impressive
as
expected.
It
has
grossed
4
crore
rupees
in
its
first
weekend
and
the
collections
are
said
to
be
on
the
decline.
Karnataka
Weekend
Gross
The
movie
has
amassed
a
total
of
5.7
crore
rupees
Karnataka,
according
to
a
report.
Looks
like
the
presence
of
Sudeep
worked
wonders
at
the
box
office
in
the
state.
Andhra
Pradesh
&
Telangana
Weekend
Gross
In
Andhra
Pradesh
&
Telangana,
the
movie
has
grossed
3.65
crore
rupees
so
far.
The
total
share
of
the
movie's
Telugu
version
in
AP
and
Nizam
areas
stands
at
2.5
crores.
Rest
Of
India
From
rest
of
India
(including
the
Hindi
version)
Puli
has
managed
to
gross
5.8
crores.
It
will
be
interesting
to
see
how
the
fantasy
film
fares
in
its
second
week
in
the
country.
Total
Worldwide
Gross
As
mentioned
earlier,
the
total
worldwide
gross
stands
at
64
crore
rupees
(approximately)
with
Australia
and
France
being
some
of
the
major
contributors.
Acid
Test
This
Week
The
film's
box
office
success
will
largely
depend
on
its
second
week,
according
to
trade
experts.
It
is
to
be
seen
if
the
film
has
enough
gas
in
it
to
collect
big
this
week.
