Rajini Murugan Now, Will It Be Kamal Aiyappan And Ajith Ganesan In The Future?

By Avinash

Many interesting information have been revealed during the audio launch function of Sivakarthikeyan's upcoming film Rajini Murugan, that took place last night(June 16th).

Sample this; director Ponram said he himself did not realize that the film actually had some serious messages hidden in it until Rajkiran, who is playing Siva's grandfather, pointed it out to him.

But what really interests us is the fact that many upcoming directors are inclined towards using the names and dialogues of already famous celebrities in order to attain success.

If it was Ajith's dialogue in Kaaki Sattai, it is Rajinikanth's name and a scene straight from Muthu which would most probably trigger a huge applause in theatres.

In fact, Ponram's debut film had a catchy title, thanks to Vadivelu's popularity in the movie, Winner which saw him play the leader of an association named, Varuthapadatha Valibar Sangam.

Though the trend of using already famous dialogues aimed at achieving popularity, started in Kollywood a few years ago, it is now almost threatening to pin down the efforts taken to produce a original film.

The only concern is, if filmmakers can make success their own by using the handiwork of other directors or dialogue writers, it might send wrong signals to aspiring directors, thereby reducing the overall quality of Tamil cinema.

Going by what's happening right now, should we prepare ourselves for movie titles like 'Kamal Aiyappan' and 'Ajith Ganesan' in the future?
