Like
it
or
not,
but
it's
now
become
a
fashion
statement
to
target
big
budget
movies
or
films
housing
a
prominent
star
in
some
way
or
the
other.
While
some
do
it
after
the
release
of
the
flick
in
question,
most
of
the
time
it
is
done
before
the
movie's
release.
The
latest
movie
to
have
landed
in
the
soup
is
none
other
than
Superstar
Rajinikanth's
Kabali.
Yes,
minutes
after
announcing
the
official
title
of
Rajinikanth's
159th
film,
a
Mysore
based
producer
cum
director
has
claimed
that
the
title
'Kabali'
has
already
been
taken.
But
the
catch
here
is,
the
director-producer
named
Sivakumar
has
failed
to
renew
his
title
each
and
every
year
as
per
the
laws
as
he
had
registered
it
few
years
ago.
Nevertheless,
Sivakumar
has
alleged
that
the
authorities
responsible
for
renewing
the
title
disregarded
his
plea
each
and
every
time
he
walked
up
to
them
to
get
his
title
'Kabali'
renewed.
According
to
Sivakumar,
his
film
has
a
girl
named
Kavya
as
its
heroine
and
over
90
percent
of
the
shoot
has
been
already
completed.
Now
that
the
title
'Kabali'
has
been
successfully
registered
by
Pa
Ranjith
and
co,
Sivakumar
has
claimed
that
he
is
devastated
and
that
he
has
no
clue
how
to
go
about
this
issue.
It
is
not
uncommon
for
someone
to
seek
a
ban
or
an
interim
stay
on
a
particular
movie.
Now
that
Sivakumar
alleges
that
he
wasn't
allowed
to
renew
his
title,
there
are
chances
that
he
might
seek
the
support
of
a
court
regarding
this
issue.
Will
He
Ask
For
Money?
Another
way
to
settle
things
amicably
is
by
negotiating
with
money.
In
the
recent
past,
there
were
many
instances
where
plaintiffs
had
demanded
money
from
the
defendants
in
order
to
withdraw
the
case.
Did
Ameer
Too
Eye
On
Kabali?
Another
report
had
suggested
that
director
Ameer
too
wanted
the
title
Kabali
and
had
also
registered
the
same.
Nothing
has
been
confirmed
officially
though.
Why
Kabali?
It
is
said
that
Rajinikanth
will
be
playing
a
character
named
Kabaleeswaran
and
hence
the
team
felt
it
would
be
apt
for
them
to
lock
the
title
Kabali.
Shoot
To
Begin
Next
Month
If
everything
goes
as
per
plans,
the
shooting
of
the
film
will
start
from
next
month.
It
is
said
that
the
first
schedule
is
planned
to
take
place
in
Malaysia.
Film
Based
On
Chennai
Don?
It
is
said
that
the
plot
of
the
film
is
loosely
based
on
the
real
life
incidents
of
a
famous
Chennai
don.
It
is
to
be
noted
that
Pa
Ranjith's
Madras
was
also
based
on
the
lives
of
people
living
in
the
city.
