Ranjith-Rajini Project: Is It Rajinikanth & Rajinikanth Or Rajinikanth & 'Attakathi' Dinesh?

If the latest speculation about Ranjith-Rajinikanth project materializes, then 'Attakathi' Dinesh will be sharing screen space with the Superstar of Tamil cinema.

According to the latest buzz, Pa Ranjith's script demands another hero and that he might rope in the lead actor from his debut movie, Attakathi.

If the hearsay goes on to become a reality, this movie could provide Dinesh his biggest break. After all, sharing screen space with the 'Thalaivar' doesn't happen often does it?

Another set of source indicate that it is true the story demands another hero, but the director might not rope in Dinesh but Rajinikanth himself, suggesting that Rajini might play a dual role.

Since the official announcement regarding the casting is not yet revealed, it is to be seen which version of the above mentioned stories stands tall at the end of the day.

It is also speculated that Nayantara has already been approached to play an important role. Official confirmation on that bit is awaited as well. However, the entire technical team has been announced officially.

With Kochadaiiyaan and Lingaa handing Rajinikanth back to back failures, this Ranjith project becomes an important film in the Superstar's career and might also be instrumental in deciding his future endeavours.
