Looks
like
Gandhi
Jayanti,
which
falls
on
the
2nd
of
October
every
year,
is
one
of
the
preferred
dates
for
the
makers
of
Tamil
cinema
to
release
their
respective
films.
It
certainly
looks
that
way
this
year
as
two
important
flicks
might
release
on
October
2nd
even
as
one
biggie
missed
the
date
by
a
whisker.
It
is
a
known
fact
that
Chiyaan
Vikram's
10
Enradhukulla
was
scheduled
to
hit
the
big
screen
on
October
2nd.
However,
the
latest
news
is
that
the
film
has
been
postponed
for
an
October
21st
release
citing
a
lag
in
the
fag
end
of
shooting
schedule.
With
10
Enradhukulla
not
releasing
on
October
2nd
as
expected
earlier,
it
is
being
said
that
Thirrupathi
Brothers
are
eyeing
Gandhi
Jayanti
to
bring
alive
their
pending
project
Rajini
Murugan,
starring
Sivakarthikeyan
and
Keerthy
Suresh
in
the
lead.
Interestingly,
according
to
a
source,
Dhanush
has
already
zeroed
in
on
October
2nd
to
release
his
yet
to
be
titled
film
with
director
Velraj
which
has
Samantha
and
Amy
Jackson
playing
his
heroines.
This
film,
tentatively
titled
as
'VIP
2',
also
has
director
KS
Ravikumar
and
Radhika
in
prominent
roles.
If
'VIP
2'
hits
the
theatre
on
October
2nd
as
per
Dhanush's
wish
and
if
Thirrupathi
Brothers
decide
to
release
Rajini
Murugan
on
the
same
day,
then
movie
buffs
will
have
a
chance
to
witness
a
direct
face
off
between
Dhanush
and
Sivakarthikeyan
for
the
first
time
ever.
What's
Delaying
10
Enradhukulla?
It
is
said
that
a
small
portion
of
the
film
is
yet
to
be
shot
and
hence
the
makers
are
in
no
position
to
release
the
film
anytime
soon.
Considering
the
average
time
consumed
to
complete
the
post
production
works
of
any
movie,
the
Vikram
starrer
might
not
even
release
in
October.
Vikram's
Upcoming
Projects
After
10
Enradhukulla,
Vikram
will
be
seen
in
Marma
Manithan
being
directed
by
Anand
Shankar
and
AG
Amid's
yet
to
be
titled
film.
It
was
recently
reported
that
Vikram
might
be
approached
for
a
role
in
the
Tamil
remake
of
an
English
flick
Warrior.
Dhanush's
Upcoming
Projects
Post
'VIP
2',
Dhanush
will
be
teaming
up
with
Vetrimaran.
Dhanush's
previous
projects
with
Vetrimaran
includes
Polladhavan
and
Aadukalam.
Aadukalam
fetched
6
awards
at
the
58th
National
Film
Awards,
including
awards
for
Best
Director,
Best
Screenplay
and
Best
Actor.
Sivakarthikeyan's
Upcoming
Projects
Sivakarthikeyan
is
currently
working
on
a
high
budget
film
being
directed
by
Bhagyaraj
Bharathi.
It
was
reported
that
Sivakarthikeyan
will
be
seen
in
3
different
roles;
a
woman,
an
old
man
and
a
young
man.
Will
October
Host
Three
Big
Releases?
If
everything
goes
as
per
plans,
then
this
October
will
see
the
release
of
three
big
films;
Rajini
Murugan,
'VIP
2'
and
10
Enradhukulla.
If
that
happens
then
Tamil
movie
buffs
will
have
a
feast
of
a
month.
