Sridevi Upset Over Limited Screen Space In Puli?

As Ilayathalapathy Vijay's Puli is getting ready for a worldwide release on October 1st, the entire team are on their toes, making sure that everything is right in place from VFX to dubbing.

It was recently reported that director Chimbu Deven had asked his team to look for a dubbing artiste for Sridevi, who has played a queen in the movie.

But, when Sridevi came to know about her team's effort, she put forward her interest of dubbing for herself, post which the veteran actress started the dubbing session.

While everything seemed perfect for the English Vinglish actress, it was while dubbing for the movie, she has reportedly realized her actual screen space in Puli.

And according to the latest report, Sridevi is quite upset after noticing that she has played a restrained role in the high budget flick as she was able to wrap up her dubbing in less than two days time.

Realizing that most of the portions involving her hadn't made it in the final cut, Sridevi has repeatedly asked the director and producers why many of her scenes were chopped, after they had acquired many number of days from her call sheet, it is said.

It is reported that sources close to the project has revealed that Sridevi has played a wicked queen in the much anticipated movie.

Puli To Be Censored Soon

The movie is expected to be censored on September 14th. Fans are eagerly waiting to know if Puli can make it out of the CBFC board with a clean U.

Telugu Audio launch

The audio launch for the Telugu version of the movie will take place in a grand manner on September 19th.

Hindi Audio launch

It is said that the audio launch for the Hindi version will happen on September 25th in Mumbai. Many prominent Hindi stars are expected to attend the event.

ATMUS Entertainment

ATMUS Entertainment, the distributors of Puli in the USA are celebrating the movie's release, they had tweeted, "Just found out that #Puli will be the 50th film released by ATMUS as USA Distributors! 5th year, 50th film!! Get ready for a huge release!!".

Vijay 59 Title

It is said that the official title of Vijay 59 will be announce only after the release of Puli.
