Survey: Ilayathalapathy Vijay Is The Most Popular Tamil Actor, Second Most Popular In South India!
If the latest report is to be believed, Ilayathalapathy Vijay is the most famous actor in Tamil cinema and is the second most popular hero in the entire South Indian film industry.
A recent survey held in various parts of South India has suggested that Vijay is more popular than the likes of Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan and Ajith Kumar.
It is said that the survey was held after taking into consideration the factors like; assets owned, popularity, youthfulness, fan base, box office success and remuneration.
Though only Tamil and Telugu actors were reportedly considered, the end result might be an absolute shocker to any Tamil movie lover as the list of 10 is loaded with Telugu actors.
But what matters the most is the presence of Vijay and other Tamil heroes in the list below. Having said that, it is unclear how this survey was conducted and there are no official confirmation on its authenticity either.
As of now, what can be said with absolute proof is the fact that Vijay's popularity is growing with each passing day and it is only poised to get bigger when his upcoming movie Puli begins to roar on the big screen.

And now get ready to surprise yourself. Telugu actor Allu Arjun takes the third spot as his recently released S/O Sathyamurthy ran pretty well at the box office. The actor is just 32 years old and is a heart-throb to many young girls.
Mahesh Babu
Telugu film industry's Superstar Mahesh Babu grabs the fourth position. The Selvandhan actor is full of charm and is pretty successful when it comes to the box office.
Ram Charan
Yet another Telugu star Ram Charan takes the fifth position in this list. The 30 year old actor recently made his Hindi debut through a movie named Zanjeer opposite Priyanka Chopra.
Dhanush
