Thala Ajith's Intolerable Pain Prompts Knee Surgery Earlier Than Scheduled, No Shooting For 6 Months
We had earlier reported that Thala Ajith will go under the knife to get his injured knee operated at a private hospital in Chennai on November 24th.
But the surgery, which was scheduled to take place after two weeks from the release date of Vedalam, occurred much earlier than expected; as according to reports, doctors have already performed the operation on Ajith's right knee.
It is being said that Ajith suffered an intolerable pain yesterday (November 12th) and was immediately rushed to the hospital.
Doctors after examining him, had recommended to prepone the surgery. After a discussion with Ajith and his family members, surgeons decided to operate his knee right away.
After completing the 6 hour surgery, doctors assured that the star actor is doing good and will be discharged soon. They have also advised Ajith to rest for at least 6 months before venturing into his next movie.
Since Ajith will be out of action for the next 6 months, the shooting for his next project with director Siva is expected to start only after June 2016.
