With
the
release
date
of
Simbu's
much
awaited
Vaalu
confirmed,
Tamil
movie
buffs
will
have
two
comic
capers
this
Friday
(August
14th)
in
Vaalu
and
Arya's
Vasuvum
Saravananum
Onna
Padichavanga
(VSOP).
While
VSOP
has
Arya,
Tamannaah,
Bhanu
and
Santhanam
in
prominent
roles
and
is
directed
by
M
Rajesh
of
Siva
Manasula
Sakthi
fame,
Vaalu
has
Simbu,
Hansika,
Santhanam
and
is
helmed
by
debutant
Vijay
Chander.
Both
these
movies
are
touted
as
hilarious
entertainers
and
are
expected
to
give
this
year's
Independence
Day
(August
15th)
a
comical
twist.
All
Simbu
fans
are
geared
up
to
make
Vaalu
a
grand
success
as
their
favourite
star's
movie
is
releasing
after
an
eon,
even
as
VSOP
has
some
reputation
behind
it
as
filmmaker
Rajesh
has
found
immense
success
in
this
particular
genre,
comedy.
Last
time
when
Arya
joined
hands
with
Rajesh,
they
dished
out
a
movie
named
Boss
Engira
Bhaskaran
which
went
on
to
become
a
successful
outing
at
the
box
office.
But
this
time
around
the
story
might
be
slightly
different
as
they
will
face
a
tough
fight
from
Simbu's
Vaalu.
However,
both
these
flicks
have
their
own
strong
points
and
it
is
about
time
we
take
a
look
at
the
reasons
to
watch
Vasuvum
Saravananum
Onna
Padichavanga
and
Vaalu
in
the
slides
below.
It
was
in
2012
Simbu
was
last
seen
in
a
fully
fledged
role.
Post
Podaa
Podi,
the
actor
was
seen
only
in
cameo
roles
in
a
string
of
films
including
the
recently
released
Kaaka
Muttai.
Now,
after
a
gap
of
3
long
years,
the
Manmadhan
star
is
all
set
to
entertain
one
and
all
on
the
big
screen.
Real
Life
Couples
To
Reel
Life
Couples
Ex
lovers
Hansika
and
Simbu
are
pairing
up
for
the
first
time
on
the
big
screen.
Their
on-screen
chemistry
might
turn
out
to
be
the
ultimate
USP
of
this
film
and
hence
it
qualifies
as
one
of
the
reasons
to
catch
Vaalu
on
the
big
screen.
Impressive
Cast
The
film
houses
some
well
known
actors
like
Aadukalam
Naren,
Sri
Ranjani
and
Brahmanandam
as
a
part
of
its
supporting
cast.
It
also
has
Kannada
actor
Aditya
in
a
negative
role
and
yesteryear
actor
Salim
Ghouse
in
an
interesting
character.
The
Hit
Trio
Is
Back
As
mentioned
earlier
Boss
Engira
Bhaskaran
was
a
super
hit
and
the
men
responsible
for
it
are
back
with
yet
another
flick.
Santhanam
in
a
recent
interview
had
claimed
that
VSOP
will
be
better
than
Boss
Engira
Bhaskaran
in
every
aspect.
If
that
is
what
this
movie
has
to
offer,
it
is
only
fair
to
check
it
out
on
the
silver
screen.
Strong
Technical
Crew
Apart
from
music
director
Imman,
who
is
now
on
a
winning
streak,
VSOP
has
Nirav
Shah
and
Vivek
Harshan
as
its
cameraman
and
editor
respectively.
While
Nirav
Shah
has
films
like
Billa
(2007)
and
Dhoom
2
under
his
belt,
Vivek
Harshan
recently
won
the
National
Award
for
his
work
in
Jigarthanda.
Hence
one
can
expect
the
film
to
be
technically
sound.
Promises
To
Be
High
On
Comedy
Director
Rajesh
sure
knows
how
to
deliver
a
good
comedy
film
which
will
leave
you
in
splits.
With
comedians
like
Santhanam,
Karunakaran,
Vidyullekha
Raman,
Venniradai
Moorthy
and
Swaminathan
of
'Lollu
Sabha' fame,
VSOP
promises
to
tickle
your
funny
bone
to
the
fullest.
