Serving as a proof to confirm moviegoers' attraction towards the movie, a report has claimed that a mammoth 9000 tickets have already been sold ever since the advance booking option was made available.

Claiming that no other Tamil cinema has achieved this feat, it is being said that Uttama Villain could well turn out to be the most anticipated Tamil film ever worldwide.

Meanwhile, it is widely reported that Kamal Haasan's upcoming film set to be shot in Mauritius will start rolling from May 15th onwards.

The film has Trisha, playing Kamal's love interest and Prakash Raj in an important role. It is said that the film will comprise of a story which unfolds overnight and hence aptly titled, Ore Iravu.
