Vedalam Second Day (Wednesday) Box Office Collections: 25 Crores In Tamil Nadu Alone!

Vedalam (Vedhalam) has amassed a whopping 25 Crore rupees in Tamil Nadu alone from the first two days of its release. After crossing 15 Crores on its opening day, the Thala Ajith starrer has collected more than 9.6 Crores on its second day (Wednesday) at the box office.

Producer and National Award-winning writer Dhananjayan Govind ‏posted on his official Twitter page, "Just got the data. #Vedalam did little over Rs.9.6 cr yesterday (Wednesday), total crosses Rs.25 cr in 2 days in TN. Amazing response & congrats to team."

At this rate, the much talked about flick should easily cross the 100 Crore mark by the end of its first weekend, after taking into consideration its worldwide collections.

The movie is said to have gathered some big bucks in other South Indian states like Karnataka and Kerala as well. The second day collections from these states are still awaited.

In France, Vedalam has reportedly collected more than 6000 entries from its first two days. Official confirmation though is awaited regarding this.
