When
Superstar's
Enthiran
was
released
in
2010,
one
thing
that
excited
many
fans
more
than
the
second
time
collaboration
between
Shankar
and
Rajinikanth
was
the
fact
that
Enthiran
was
arguably
the
first
fully
fledged
science-fiction
movie
Tamil
cinema
had
witnessed.
While
Enthiran
was
a
high
budget
movie
that
involved
famed
stars,
Vishnu's
upcoming
movie
Indru
Netru
Naalai
is
a
comparatively
low
budget
film,
but
deals
with
the
same
genre,
sci-fi.
The
movie
which
is
releasing
this
Friday(26th
June)
could
be
a
gateway
to
sci-fi
movies
in
Kollywood,
made
at
an
affordable
price.
With
a
wave
of
change
hitting
Tamil
cinema,
this
might
be
the
right
time
for
producers
and
directors
to
come
up
with
such
films(most
often
seen
in
Hollywood),
for
the
audience
are
ready
to
embrace
the
change
more
than
ever
before.
Another
low
budget
science
fiction
movie
that
entertained
one
and
all
in
the
recent
past
was
Appuchi
Gramam
which
was
directed
by
Vi
Anand.
While
it
is
difficult
to
dish
out
movies
like
Enthiran
at
regular
intervals
due
to
financial
constraints,
it
is
definitely
feasible
for
Tamil
cinema
to
come
up
with
unique
conceptual
movies
to
perhaps
elevate
the
quality
and
educate
its
audience.
