Who Is Directing Rajinikanth's Upcoming Movie?

According to the latest buzz, Superstar Rajinikanth's upcoming film will be directed by P Vasu and will be bankrolled by Ramkumar and Prabhu Ganesan under their home banner Sivaji Productions. According to some reports, P Vasu had met the Lingaa star a few days ago at his residence to discuss about the project.

After P Vasu explaining the story line to Rajinikanth, the second highest paid actor in Asia has expressed his desire to act in the movie as he was impressed with the one liner. The Superstar has also reportedly given his dates to P Vasu. Official confirmation on the same is expected soon from the producers.

P Vasu has directed Rajinikanth in the past on many occasions to produce some hit movies which includes Panakkaran, Mannan, Uzhaippali and Chandramukhi. His latest association with Rajinikanth did not work out as per planned as Kuselan was a box office dud.

It is also to be noted that the last time when P Vasu and Rajinikanth dished out a movie together under Sivaji Productions(Chandramukhi), it went on to become a huge box office success as the movie created new record by running for more than 800 days in some theatres in Tamil Nadu.

Rajinikanth's next might be a low budget movie as Rajinikanth himself had expressed his interest to work in a low budget film when compared with his previous three releases. There were also speculations about Rajinikanth younger daughter Aishwarya R Dhanush directing her father in her next movie but looks like Aishwarya has to wait patiently until she finally gets a chance to direct Kollywood's biggest star.
