Will Bharathiraja Say Yes To Ilayathalapathy Vijay?
It is a known fact that Ilayathalapathy Vijay will be joining hands with director Atlee of Raja Rani fame for his 59th film once he finishes his current project, Puli. An interesting piece of information that's been doing rounds pertaining to Vijay 59 is that an ace director has been approached for a prominent role.
Veteran director Bharathiraja who has given some wonderful films to Tamil cinema has been approached for an important role in Vijay 59 according to reports. It is to be noted that Bharathiraja has been featured in many films before as an actor and has proved his acting abilities.
His performances in films like Aayutha Ezhuthu and Pandianadu were praiseworthy. It only remains to be seen if the famed filmmaker-actor gives his consent to be a part of Vijay's 59th movie. Bharathiraja's presence in such an important movie will only boost its popularity.
Meanwhile, in the sets of Puli, comedian Imman Annachi is said to be having a torrid time with lots of kids around him as he is playing the chief for a gang of notorious kids. It is also said that Vijay himself picked Imman Annachi for this particular role after being impressed with Imman's performances in some of his recent flicks.
Puli is touted to be a fantasy entertainer which boasts of a tremendous star cast. With the shooting of the film moving at a rapid pace, it is expected that Puli might indeed roar by the end of this year. Stay tuned for further updates.
