Ajith's
upcoming
movie
Yennai
Arindhaal,
which
is
slated
to
hit
silver
screens
on
February
5th
has
a
unique
touch
to
it,
according
to
its
director
Gautham
Vasudev
Menon.
The
Vinnaithaandi
Varuvaayaa
director
in
his
recent
interview
said
that
the
movie's
cinematography
will
be
very
new
to
our
audience.
Yennai
Arindhaal
has
been
captured
on
lens
by
Dan
Macarthur,
an
Australian
director-cameraman.
"While
our
audience
are
well
aware
what
our
camera-mans
are
capable
of,
Yennai
Arindhaal
will
be
a
different
experience
as
I
was
interested
to
see
what
angles
Dan
can
bring
into
a
particular
scene,"
said
Gautham.
When
asked
if
he
was
able
to
understand
the
emotions
of
the
characters,
Gautham
said,
"each
and
every
scene
was
explained
to
Dan
before
the
shoot
so
that
he
knows
exactly
what
the
characters
are
going
through.
But,
it
was
interesting
to
see
how
he
approached
the
scene
and
that
will
give
rise
to
a
completely
different
camera
angle
and
that
excited
me
as
a
director."
Each
and
every
cinematographer
will
have
his
own
ideas
and
hence
the
same
film
can
look
different
when
shot
by
different
camera-mans.
It
will
be
exciting
to
see
Yennai
Arindhaal
under
Dan
Macarthur's
vision
and
his
own
contributions
to
the
film.
Meanwhile,
Yennai
Arindhaal
which
was
certified
as
a
U/A
film
by
the
censor
board
will
be
once
again
sent
to
the
revising
committee
to
see
if
the
film
can
get
a
clean
U.
"Whatever
happens
at
the
revising
committee,
the
film's
release
date
won't
be
changed
any
further," confirmed
a
source
close
to
the
producer
of
Yennai
Arindhaal.
