Actress
Janani
Iyer,
who
was
last
seen
in
Thegidi,
which
released
in
the
year
2014,
has
been
roped
in
to
play
an
important
role
in
Jai's

Sinish,

Comparing
Characters
Director Sinish
has
compared Janani
Iyer's
character
in
the
movie
with
that
of Swathi
Reddy's
in
Subramaniyapuram.
"Janani's
character
will
be
similar
to
that
of
Swathi
Reddy's
character
in
'Subramaniyapuram'.
Janani
will
join
the
shoot
in
Kodaikanal
for
the
third
schedule," he
told
Deccan
Chronicle.
Wait
For
The
First
Look
When
asked
if
Janani
is
playing
the
ghost, Sinish,
without
divulging
much,
has
requested
to
wait
for
the
first
look
poster
of
the
film.
Costume
Designer
Since
the
movie
is
expected
to
take
us
back
in
time
with
its
flashback
portions,
costumes
become
an
integral
part
of
the
making.
That's
exactly
why
the
makers
have
roped
in
one
of
the
most
acclaimed
costume
designers
in NJ
Sathya.
Three
Different
Looks
For
Jai?
It
is
said
that
Jai
will
appear
in
three
different
looks
in
the
film.
Earlier,
the
director
had
revealed
that
the
Chennai
600028
actor
would
portray
the
role
of
a
married
man.
Other
Cast
&
Crew
Yuvan
Shankar
Raja
has
been
roped
in
to
compose
music
for
the
film.
While R

Janani's
Upcoming
Films
Apart
from
Balloon,Janani
Iyer
will
be
seen
in Thollaikatchi,
a
romantic
comedy,
being
directed
by
Sadiq

film
stars
Ashwin
Kakumanu
in
the
lead. Janani
has
also
bagged
a
role
opposite Kalaiyarasan
in
a
yet
untitled
movie.
"She
plays
a
character
called
Shenbagavalli,
and
her
portions
with
Jai
are
set
in
1989.
Janani
will
be
seen
in
a
full-length
retro
avatar
in
this
flashback
portion.
She
will
join
the
sets
in
the
next
schedule
in
Kodaikanal,"
Sinish
told
IANS.
Also
starring
Anjali
in
the
lead,
the
project
marks
the
reunion
of
Jai
and
Anjali
as
they
were
last
seen
together
in
2011
Tamil
romantic-drama
Engeyum
Eppothum.
But
it
is
Janani's
character
that
the
director
doesn't
want
to
talk
about
considering
the
importance
of
her
role
in
the
film.
"It's
too
early
to
get
into
the
details
of
her
character.
If
I
talk
about
her
role,
I
fear
I
might
give
away
the
entire
plot,"
Sinish,
who
is
excited
about
his
first
directorial
venture,
has
said.
Balloon
is
being
bankrolled

stunt
choreographer
Dhilip
Subbarayan,
Arun
Balaji
