Hindi
actress
Aditi
Rao
Hydari
has
been
brought
on
board
as
the
leading
lady
in
ace
film-maker
Mani
Ratnam's
next
Tamil
romantic-drama.
Aditi
has
replaced
Sai
Pallavi
in
the
film,
which
also
features
Karthi.
"Aditi
has
replaced
Sai
Pallavi.
While
the
exact
reason
is
still
unknown
but
it's
believed
that
Pallavi
had
set
aside
her
dates
for
another
project
and
since
this
film
was
getting
delayed,
she
had
no
other
option
than
to
exit," a
source
from
the
film's
unit
told
IANS.
Karthi
is
said
to
play
a
pilot
in
the
movie,
who,
while
on
his
visit
to
India,
falls
in
love.
The
project
is
expected
to
go
on
floors
from
June.
Two
time
Oscar-winning
musician
AR
Rahman
will
compose
the
tunes,
while
Ravi
Varman
will
handle
the
camera.
Many
speculations
had
surfaced
pertaining
to
Sai
Pallavi's
sudden
exit
from
the
film.
Some
had
even
claimed
that
the
Premam
actress
walked
out
of
the
project
after
learning
that
the
movie
will
have
intimate
scenes
between
the
lead
pair
and
that
she
wasn't
comfortable
with
the
idea.
However,
Sai
Pallavi
has
come
forward
in
order
to
clear
the
air.
In
a
series
of
tweets,
the
talented
actress
has
confessed
that
she
is
an
ardent
fan
of
the
maverick
director
and
that
no
one
would
ever
walk
out
of
a
Mani
Ratnam
movie.
"There
are
many
rumours
going
around;
Thought
I'll
personally
clear
things:
No
one
will
ever
have
the
heart
to
walk
out
of
a
Mani
Sir's
film.
Neither
did
I.
Sir
being
a
legendary
director
knows
who's
best
for
the
character
&
as
a
caring
person
knows
what's
best
for
me
too."
"Mani
Sir
was
kind
enough
to
explain
things
based
on
developments
in
the
script.
For
his
stature
he
needn't
have
to.
Being
an
ardent
fan
of
his
work
I'm
as
excited
as
everyone
for
this
film,"
she
posted.
