Film-maker
Vetrimaaran,
who
is
fresh
out
of
the
success
of
the
critically
acclaimed
Tamil
film
Visaaranai,
has
acquired
the
rights
for
the
book
'Shoes
Of
The
Dead'
to
adapt
it
into
a
feature
film.
Authored
by
Neelima
Kota,
the
book
throws
the
spotlight
on
farmers'
suicides.

its

Twitter
page.
Later,
Vetrimaaran
confirmed
that
he
is
willing
to
remodel
the
book
into
a
film,
he
said,
"This
is
a
book
that
I
feel
needs
to
be
made
into
a
film."

The
film
will
be
produced
by
Vetrimaaran's
home
banner,
Grass
Root
Film
Company.
The
National
Award
winning
film-maker's
Visaranai
was
also
partly
based
on
Tamil
novel
'Lock
Up'.
